You're reading: UNIAN: Two Ukrainians detained in Crimea for ‘plotting sabotage’ transported to Moscow

Ukrainian citizens Yevhen Panov and Andriy Zahtey, who had earlier been arrested by Russian occupying authorities in Crimea on charges of plotting sabotage, were transferred to Moscow’s Lefortovo pre-trial detention facility, according to the activists of the Civil Monitoring Commission of Moscow Zoya Svetova and Yeva Merkacheva, who visited the facility for a scheduled inspection October 13, Meduza.io reported.

Panov and Zahtey said they had been transported from Simferopol pre-trial detention facility overnight October 7 (three days prior to the Simferopol court’s ruling to extend their arrest).
