Ukrainian citizens Yevhen Panov and Andriy Zahtey, who had earlier been arrested by Russian occupying authorities in Crimea on charges of plotting sabotage, were transferred to Moscow’s Lefortovo pre-trial detention facility, according to the activists of the Civil Monitoring Commission of Moscow Zoya Svetova and Yeva Merkacheva, who visited the facility for a scheduled inspection October 13, Meduza.io reported.
Panov and Zahtey said they had been transported from Simferopol pre-trial detention facility overnight October 7 (three days prior to the Simferopol court’s ruling to extend their arrest).
