The deficit of Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods and services in January-March 2018 (Q1) was estimated at US$1.691 billion, which was 25.4 percent up year-over-year.

The deficit of foreign trade in commodities in Q1 2018 grew by 1.3 percent year on year, to $1.936 billion, while the surplus of foreign trade in services increased by 2.3 times, to $245 billion, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
