You're reading: UNIAN: Ukraine slaps import quotas on sulfuric acid

Ukraine’s Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has decided to impose quotas for imports of sulfuric acid and oleum for three years.

“In order to protect the national commodity producers from growing imports, special measures in the form of import quotas have been applied to imports of sulfuric and oleum acids into Ukraine, irrespective of the country of origin and export, for a three-year period,” the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry’s press service said on July 2.
