Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Anatoliy Korzun has said natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) will reach 17 billion cubic meters (bcm) by mid-October, by the beginning of the 2018-2019 heating season.
“A plan of measures for the sustainable passage of the 2018-2019 autumn-winter period has been developed and relevant graphs have been drafted for the accumulation of coal in the volume of 2.6 million tons, including 1 million tons of an anthracite group and 1.6 million of a gas group, 130,000 ton of fuel oil, as well a schedule for pumping 17 bcm of gas into USFs,” Korzun said during a conference call in the Cabinet of Ministers.
