Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has pardoned Kremlin’s political prisoner Serhiy Lytvinov, who was convicted in Russia on trumped-up charges and was serving his sentence in Ukraine since March.

Ukrainian citizen Serhiy Lytvinov was among those who were unlawfully held and convicted in Russia. After spending five years in the colonies of Rostov and Magadan, Lytvinov was found in Dykanivska colony in Kharkiv.
