US Embassy in Ukraine: World literally watching whether Russia will free Sentsov

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has said that the world expects Russia to immediately free illegally convicted Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov.

“Today, Oleh Senstov marks not only his 42nd birthday, but his 61st day of hunger strike in a Siberian prison. Russia, meanwhile, prepares for a World Cup final. The world is literally watching,” the embassy reported on its Twitter page on Friday.
