The United States Air Force F-15C Eagles and a C-130J Super Hercules plane have arrived in Ukraine to participate in Clear Sky 2018 multinational military exercises, the U.S. Embassy said on Twitter.
“The United States Air Force F-15C Eagles and a C-130J Super Hercules plane have arrived in Ukraine to participate in #ClearSky2018, a multinational military exercise focusing on promoting peace and security,” the U.S. Embassy to Kyiv said on Twitter.
The main base for training combat aircraft will be the airfield in Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnitsky region.
The military exercises Clear Sky 2018 will be attended by military personnel from the United States, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom and Ukraine. The purpose of the maneuvers is to improve interaction between Ukraine and NATO, strengthening regional security.
