The shipment of international military-technical assistance from the United States arrived at Kyiv’s Boryspil Airport on October 10, the press service for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.

The delivery was carried out as part of the implementation of the agreements reached during President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent visit to Washington.

These agreements envision the provision of additional assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the U.S. government.

“In addition to the previously agreed amount of $250 million, Ukraine receives from its American partners’ medical equipment, weapons, necessary ammunition, precision weapons, and radar surveillance equipment for another $60 million,” the Defense Ministry said.

“The cargo will arrive in Ukraine in several consignments, one of which arrived at Boryspil International Airport today, October 10,” the statement said.

In general, since 2014, Ukraine has already received logistical support from the U.S. totaling more than $2 billion, it said.

“The provision of additional security assistance from the U.S. government to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is another testament to the inviolable strategic partnership between our states,” the Defense Ministry said.
