The U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has organized a special charter flight for citizens and legal permanent residents of the country from Kyiv (from Boryspil Airport) to Washington (Dulles Airport).
Current departure time is 5 p.m. (Kyiv time), arriving at Dulles airport at 1 a.m. (EST) on April 16. These times are subject to change, the Embassy said on its website on April 14.
“We have notified all those who have been selected to travel. If you have not received a phone call or an email notifying you that you have been selected or that you are on standby, that means that you have not been given a seat on the plane,” the message reads.
“If you have not heard from us but still would like to be considered for this flight, please send us a brief message with your name and a phone number where you can be reached at [email protected]. Passengers with confirmed seats on the plane will receive detailed instructions regarding check-in time and transportation via email,” it says.
