The Holos (Voice) Party is ready to participate in the formation of a coalition of the new Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, with parties that share the party’s principles, its leader Svyatoslav Vakarchuk said in an exclusive interview for Interfax-Ukraine.
“The Holos Party, realizing all the challenges, is ready for a coalition. But only with the forces that fully share our principles,” he said.
Vakarchuk said that the party does not intend to work in a coalition with political forces that do not agree that Europe is Ukraine’s choice, that will defend oligarchs and that do not share the principle of equality before law and that do not want to make the authorities accountable to the public.
“The rest can be negotiated,” Vakarchuk said.
