The Verkhovna Rada will vote for candidates for the post of speaker of parliament on Oct. 8.
Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk, presiding over the plenary session, closed the plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament at about 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 6. The regulations stipulate that the plenary session lasts until 3 p.m. on Oct. 7 with the possibility of extending it only for 15 minutes.
“We still have deputies” addresses, so we will continue discussing this issue tomorrow,” Kondratiuk said.
