You're reading: Wizz Air resumes operation of its base at Kyiv Airport

The Hungarian low-cost airline company Wizz Air has announced the resumption of its base at the Kyiv International Airport named after Ihor Sikorsky and flights from Ukraine to Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Greece and the UK.

In particular, Ukrainian passengers can purchase tickets to destinations: Athens (Greece), Billund and Copenhagen (Denmark), Tallinn (Estonia), Berlin-Schönefeld, Cologne, Dortmund, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig , Memmingen, Bremen, Nuremberg (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and London Luton (Great Britain), the company’s press service said on June 18 evening.

Wizz Air notes that during the flight, passengers must wear protective masks, and the crew must wear gloves. In the salons, disinfection is regularly carried out, and at night all aircraft are additionally disinfected with an antiviral agent.
