Businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky on August 3 acquired 100% of the charter capital (3.59 billion shares) of Credit Dnipro Bank (Kyiv), the bank said in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on August 4.

According to the information, the businessman sent a letter of intent to acquire 100% of the shares to the bank on April 29.

As reported, on July 30, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) approved the direct purchase of 100% of the shares of Credit Dnipro Bank by Yaroslavsky. The central bank said that the businessman is obliged to provide the bank with full financial support to ensure proper financial condition.

Bank Credit Dnipro was founded in 1993. Its sole shareholder at the beginning of the year was Brencroft Enterprises Limited, which is indirectly owned by businessman Victor Pinchuk, whose assets are combined in the EastOne Group.

According to the NBU, as of June 1, in terms of total assets (Hr 12.754 billion), the bank ranked 19th among 75 operating banks in Ukraine.
