Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has said that the next prisoner exchange could be held in one or two weeks, and the lists of prisoners are being updated and finalized.

“I really hope that maybe after this week, ten days, two weeks we will start the prisoner exchange procedures,” he said during an online briefing on March 31.

Yermak added that the preparations for the exchange continue, although the process has become more complicated due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Thus, the lists are being finalized, they are being updated. You know that we had certain difficulties as representatives of the Red Cross were barred from access. But we have received another confirmation from the TCG [Trilateral Contact Group], President [of Ukraine Volodymyr] Zelensky had a conversation with the head of the Red Cross to send their representatives to that territory as soon as possible in order to improve the lists of all people, who are [imprisoned] there,” he said.
