Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy issued an order to appoint Maksym Donets as deputy head of the Directorate and head of the Security Service of the President of Ukraine at the Department of the State Guard of Ukraine.

“To appoint Maksym Andriyovych Donets as Deputy Head of the Directorate – Head of the Security Service of the President of Ukraine at the Department of the State Guard of Ukraine,” says Decree No. 337/2019 published on the presidential website on May 29 evening.

Zelenskiy has also appointed a new State Guard Chief, having replaced Valeriy Heletei with Lieutenant-Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Otserklevych.

Presidential decree No. 333/2019, which was published on the president’s website on May 29 evening, enacts Heletei’s resignation in keeping with his letter of resignation.

Otserklevych was appointed new State Guard Chief under presidential decree No. 334/2019.
