Showman and presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy continues to lead in the presidential race, followed by incumbent President Petro Poroshenko and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko, according to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted from March 14 to March 22.
According to the results of the survey conducted among Ukrainian citizens of 18 and older across the country, Zelenskiy is favored by 19.5 percent, Poroshenko – 10.3 percent and Tymoshenko – 7.6 percent.
KIIS conducted the poll by means of personal interview. Some 2,004 persons took part in 126 population centers throughout the country, except Russia-occupied Crimea and Russia-occupied areas of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
The statistical error of the sample (with a probability of 0.95 and a design effect of 1.5) does not exceed 3.3 percent for indicators close to 50 percent, 2.8 percent for indicators close to 25 percent, 2.0 percent for indicators close to 10 percent, 1.4 percent – for indicators close to 5 percent.
