President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Denys Shmyhal as the new head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.

Corresponding decree No. 574/2019 of August 1 was published on the official website of the head of state on Friday.

By another decree, No. 573/2019, the head of state relieved Maria Savka of temporary duty.

The introduction ceremony of the new head of the regional administration to the region’s leaders was held in Ivano-Frankivsk on Friday as part of the president’s working visit to the region.
