You're reading: Zelensky approves concept of reforming State Service for Special Communication

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated October 22 “On the concept of reforming the state service for special communications and information protection of Ukraine.”

Decree No. 544/2021 was published on the website of the head of state.

According to the text of the decree, the decision comes into force on the day of its promulgation, Oct. 22.

The concept of reforming the State Special Communications Service defines the goals, objectives, stages, main priorities, directions, mechanisms, as well as the expected results of reforming the service, which should enable it, separately and in cooperation with other components of the security and defense sector, to effectively counter threats to national security.
