You're reading: UkrInform: Zelensky approves delegation to 41st session of UNESCO General Conference

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed an order on the creation of a Ukrainian delegation to participate in the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be held from Nov. 9 to 24, 2021 in Paris.

According to the document published on the website of the head of state, the delegation will be led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, head of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO Emine Dzhaparova. Ambassador of Ukraine to France, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to UNESCO Vadym Omelchenko was appointed her deputy in the delegation.

In total, the delegation included nine people representing the government and the expert community.

The presidential decree also secures the right of the head of the delegation to make changes to the composition and attract experts to ensure the work.
