The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will gather for an extraordinary meeting on demand of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov has signed a respective instruction.
According to the instruction of the parliament’s chairman dated Feb. 28, 2020, the meeting is called by the president of Ukraine in line with Part 8 of Article 19 of the Verkhovna Rada regulations, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada said.
The extraordinary meeting is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on March 4.
The subject of the meeting was not mentioned in the statement.
