Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed further assistance to Ukraine with European Council President Charles Michel and said that the crucial moment had come to close the discussion and make the decision on the country’s membership in the EU.
He wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
“It is a crucial moment to close the long-standing discussion once and for all and decide on Ukraine’s membership in the EU. Discussed with European Council President Charles Michel further effective assistance and the heroic struggle of Ukrainians for their free future,” Zelensky said.
Ukrinform reported earlier that the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, announced on February 24 the beginning of a “special military operation” in Donbas.
