President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to the family and friends of fourth Prime Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Marchuk, who died at the age of 81.

“General Yevhen Marchuk has passed away. He devoted his whole life to protecting the national interests of Ukraine. Thanks to his efforts, a ceasefire was established in Donbas and is still preserved. His experience is invaluable. Sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Memory eternal,” Zelensky said on his Twitter page on Thursday morning.
