Hresko had previously been director of the State Border Protection Department of the State Border Service.

Pimenov was appointed deputy head of the State Border Service by Poroshenko’s decree No. 438/2018 of Dec. 27, 2018. Prior to his appointment, he had been director of the Operations Department of the State Border Service.
