President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that the 23rd Ukraine-EU Summit will be effective and will further contribute to Ukraine’s integration into the European community.

“Glad to welcome President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council Charles Michel to Ukraine. I am confident that today’s dialogue in the framework of the XXIII Ukraine-EU Summit will be fruitful and will further promote Ukraine’s integration into the European community,” Zelensky said on his Twitter page on Oct. 12.

As reported earlier on Oct. 12, President of Ukraine Zelensky, President of the European Council Michel and President of the European Commission der Leyen started a meeting of the 23rd Ukraine-EU Summit, which is taking place in Kyiv.

Within the summit, it is planned to sign a number of agreements between Ukraine and the EU.
