A no-fly zone is needed over Ukraine to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said in an appeal to foreign leaders. Zelensky said the international community would be responsible for what followed if it did not implement the measure.
Large parts of Mariupol and Kharkiv are under siege and people are without water, food and electricity and many are unable to leave safely.
