President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has replaced Ukraine’s ambassador to Spain.
“To dismiss Scherba Anatoliy Anatoliyovych as Ambassador Extraordinary and Phenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Spain,” reads order No.262/2020.
The respective decrees were posted on the president’s website on Thursday.
Zelensky appointed Serhiy Pohoreltsev as Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain in March 2016 with decree No.263/2020.
As reported, Anatoliy Scherba was appointed as Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain by decree of the-then President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016.
Serhiy Pohoreltsev is a Ukrainian diplomat, who previously held the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain from July 2012 to November 2013. From September 2016 to the present moment, he was Director of the Consular Services Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
