You're reading: Zelensky signs decree on changes in Defense Council composition

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, by his decree, introduced newly appointed ministers to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).

Decree No. 569/2021 dated Nov. 5 was published on the website of the head of state.

“Introduce members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine: Pavlo Riabikin – Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine; Yulia Svyrydenko – First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine; Oleksiy Reznikov – Minister of Defense of Ukraine,” the president said in the decree.

This decree also removed Oleksiy Liubchenko, Andriy Taran, and Oleh Urusky from the NSDC.

The decree comes into force on the day of its publication.
