President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky takes under his personal control a situation in the western regions of the country, where a bad weather is raging, he discussed with the government how to help people, who suffer from water flood and heavy rains, and also set a task to deliver a humanitarian cargo to the affected regions.

“Water flood is a terrible problem that requires a thorough strategic solution. And now we must quickly take care of people who are without light, whose homes have been flooded,” the president’s press service quotes Zelensky as saying on June 23 evening.

The President’s Office emphasized that Zelensky daily was reporting on the development of the weather.

“Now rescuers are working in four regions: Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Chernivtsi,” reads the statement.
