President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanks the North Atlantic Alliance for its support and presence in the Black Sea region, but believes that amid the Russian aggression against Ukraine, this is not enough.

As reported by the Ukraine 24 television channel, Zelensky made a relevant statement during his visit to the United States.

“People in Ukraine see this support. It is important because they feel that they are not alone, and that if there is a continuation of the escalation on the part of Russia, then our partners will be with us,” the president said.

He also said that at the moment NATO support speaks only of the “presence” of the Alliance forces in the region.

“I believe that this is a correct psychological step, weapons are not used, but third countries are shown that the Alliance is cooperating with Ukraine. Therefore, as a psychological step, I think it is not bad. Is this enough? I think not,” Zelensky said.
