Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria has signed an order that deprives the refugees of the rights of their property. Süddeutsche Zeitung reported this on April 26.
According to the order, if the owners of the land plots do not come to the local authority bodies with the documents that confirm the ownership in 30 days, they will lose the rights for the property and the land plots will be transferred for the construction to the new owners.
