Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, signed the amendments in the law on the Institute of National Remembrance, as the Polish leader’s official website says.
“The amendment cancels the article which provides a punishment in the form of imprisonment for stating that Poland was involved in the crimes committed by Nazi during the World War II,” the message says.
