Roman Pieńkowski, is an affable, colourful character, who is a bit of celebrity with his neighbours. Why? Well, his shop in central Warsaw has been selling some of the city’s most delightful flowers for the best part of 100 years. The shop has survived World War II and the Communist era but the recent coronavirus lockdown has been the biggest challenge yet.
