Donald Trump has denied claims that Russia sought to cultivate and compromise him, after unverified allegations about his personal conduct and ties to Moscow spilled out into the open, just 10 days before his inauguration.
Mr Trump accused the US intelligence services of taking “one last shot” at him after spy agency officials reportedly shared a dossier containing lurid claims about the president-elect, allegedly compiled by Moscow, when they briefed him on Friday on their assessment that Russia interfered in the US election.
