You're reading: Georgia reports 472 new coronavirus cases, 4 deaths

TBILISI – Another 472 patients were diagnosed with coronavirus in Georgia in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 10,225, the Georgian Health Ministry said on Oct. 8.

Georgia reported 508 new coronavirus cases the day before.

According to the ministry, the overall coronavirus death toll climbed to 66 after four more patients died over the past day.

Some 5,574 persons are quarantined, 836 remain under medical observation in hospitals, 1,338 are receiving treatment in designated hotels, and 5,553 have recovered.
