TBILISI – The Georgian parliament on Nov. 30 has revoked the mandates of Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who was appointed as head of the government, as well as deputies Kakha Kaladze and Giorgi Gakharia, who were appointed as ministers of energy and economy, respectively.

The parliament has also revoked the deputy mandate of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s wife Sandra Roelofs. She had earlier filed an application to repeal her mandate with the Central Election Commission.

Roelofs explained her decision indicating the results of the parliamentary election in October, which the ruling Georgian Dream party had allegedly “totally falsified.”
