TBILISI – Georgian doctors diagnosed seven people with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, and the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 1,462 in the country, the Georgian Health Ministry said on August 29.

According to the ministry, 5,806 people remain in quarantine and 230 people remain under medical supervision in hospitals. A total of 1,196 people have recovered from COVID-19 and 19 died.
