New York Times: Hong Kong police arrest dozens of pro-democracy leaders

The Hong Kong police arrested dozens of elected pro-democracy officials and activists early Wednesday on suspicion of undermining a new national security law after they tried to organize an informal primary election last year for the city’s legislature.
