You're reading: Number of COVID-19 cases in Georgia reaches 1,351

TBILISI – Georgia identified ten new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing its total case count to 1,351, the Georgian Health Ministry said on August 18.

As many as 7,597 people are in quarantine, and 249 remain under medical observation in hospitals. A total of 1,092 patients earlier diagnosed with the novel coronavirus have already recovered, and another 17 have died.
