Carolina Figueroa feels she has been short-changed. The Madrid nurse was still finishing her studies when the coronavirus outbreak seriously hit Spain in March. Due to graduate in May, she jumped at the chance to join the fight against the pandemic after the Spanish government issued an urgent call for help when it became overwhelmed by the crisis.
