WASHINGTON – The top Republican on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Jan. 4 called for hearings into interference by Russia and others in the 2016 election and beyond, on the heels of a statement here by former U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller and ahead of presidential elections next year.
