This week, Congress had nine witnesses testified publicly in the impeachment inquiry. Current and former diplomats and national security aides said they thought President Trump was politicizing foreign policy with Ukraine for his own benefit. One of those witnesses admitted to communicating a politically driven quid pro quo to the Ukrainians.
