You're reading: ForUm: State financial inspection to audit budget 2014 compliance

The Cabinet approved the core auditing operations of the State Financial Inspection of Ukraine (SFI) for 2014. The subject decree was approved by the government on Feb. 5, the Information-Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine informs.

The approval of the document enabled the
SFI to carry out a comprehensive auditing of budget performance in terms
of specific budget programs established to address social and economic
problems of individual regions and the state as a whole.

Experts
note that the main activities of the SFI for 2014 include monitoring
activities in the ministries and other central executive bodies,
enterprises, institutions and organizations that receive significant
amounts of budget funds and use state property.

The
SFI also intends to audit performance of the State target program of
implementation in the educational process of general educational
institutions of Information and Communication Technologies “One Hundred
Percent” for the period 2011-2013 during the period up to 2015, for the
reporting 2014, and the National Program of fighting against cancer for
the same periods of time during the period up to 2016.

The
supervisory bodies of the agency will also audit local budgets of
Transcarpathian and Zhytomyr regions, as well as check the status of
internal audit in five central executive bodies in 2014. The SFI also
plans to audit State Treasury, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of
Education, State Water Resources Agency and State Sanitary and
Epidemiological Service.
