Since Sept. 30, heating has been supplied to maternity clinics, hospitals, schools and pre-school establishments, where children stay around the clock, chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said during the extended staff meeting.
“It’s the first-ever heating season start in September, as the weather dictates its rules. It was therefore decided that the social sphere facilities are connected to district heating today, and then it will become warmer in the residential buildings. Taking into account the fact that heating is started to be supplied after a kindergarten or school submits the relevant application to the “Kyivenergo”, we request the heads of regional state administrations and heads of departments to speed up this process,” Popov added.
