Against the backdrop of Europe’s relative secularism, Belarus looks quite religious.[1] According to the 2018 national survey by the Information Center of the Presidential Administration, 62 percent of Belarusians acknowledged belief in God.[2] The 2017 estimate of the Pew Research Center was even higher, at 84 percent.
