You're reading: Low-cost Wizz Air launches 14 new routes between Ukraine and Italy

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced 14 new flights between Ukraine and Italy.

The airline will operate from Ukrainian airports in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Zaporizhia to Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples, Verona, Catania and Bologna.

Airline will organize flights from Kyiv to Bologna, Venice, Catania, Milan, Naples and Rome. From Lviv it will operate routes to Verona, Catania, Milan and Rome. The residents of Kharkiv will be able to fly to Venice and Milan. The Odesa airport will receive planes from Bologna, Venice, Milan and Rome. From Zaporizhia, Wizz Air will launch flights to Milan.

Some flights will start to operate on Aug. 14, while others will launch in October and March. The price for a one-way ticket starts at Hr 402 ($14.50).

Tickets are already available on the website of the airline.

On June 30, Wizz Air already announced the launch of three new flights from Odesa — to Rome, Milan and Bologna. They will operate starting March 2021.

And in mid-July, the company announced that, in October 2020, it would resume flights between Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates, from Odesa to Abu Dhabi.

As of July, Wizz Air offers 77 routes between Ukraine and 15 different countries from five Ukrainain airports.
