The Kyiv Post is looking for an iOS Developer to develop, implement, track, and optimize our newly launched app. This is a demanding position that requires a person who is motivated to learn the latest trends and adapt the most successful strategies in the news media industry.
Responsibilities:
- Fix bugs according to user reports, suggest changes to app logic according to user experience
- Work together with contractors on UX/UI optimization
- Help navigate the communication with AppStore
- Manage communication and requests of the digital team and implement any needed tracking SDKs for marketing and data analysis purposes
- Make research and brainstorm new and creative optimization and scale strategies, present your ideas to the team
- Add new features and work on the existing ones, test all the features before the general rollout
Requirements
- 2 years experience of working on Swift
- Understanding and proven ability to implement an A/B test, collect data and give reasonable feedback on them
- Excellent command of written English (B2 level) and business communication; ability to assist support team to troubleshoot technical and subscription issues
- Experience developing an iOS universal application for iOS 10 and above using Swift
- Knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Experience with performing security/code scan and providing the solutions to avoid any vulnerability attack
- Experience with IOS development debugging and crash analysis technique
- Understanding of back-end on the website side to connect it to the front-end on the App side
