A Ukrainian military vehicle was blown up by “an unknown explosive device,” killing one Ukrainian soldier and injuring three others in the war zone of Donbas, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on April 27.

The wounded soldiers were hospitalized after the explosion and their conditions are stable, according to the JFO. Command has expressed condolences to the family of the deceased service member.

The Ukrainian military said it’s still investigating what happened.

Over the past weekend, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) recorded 391 ceasefire violations, including 299 explosions, in both Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

In April alone, at least 13 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the war with Russian-led militants, despite the fact that a cease-fire is formally in place.
