The Health Ministry revealed how many doses of each COVID-19 vaccine are currently in Ukraine, in an interview with publication Liga.net on Aug. 26.

Moderna: 805,652 doses. The Health Ministry stated that this amount is no longer sufficient to administer any first doses of Moderna. All will be held in reserve to administer second doses. No new Moderna vaccine will be supplied to Ukraine in September.

CoronaVac: 2,700,560 doses in central storage and 3,808,082 doses in regional warehouses.

Pfizer/Comirnaty: 34,440 doses in central storage and 523,798 in regional warehouses.

AstraZeneca: 1,807,980 doses in central storage and 1,380,568 doses in regional warehouses

CoronaVac, Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are currently available for both first and second doses.

In total, as of Aug. 24, there are more than 11 million vaccines from various manufacturers in national, regional and local warehouses.

About 6.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from various manufacturers are scheduled to arrive in Ukraine in September.  

By the end of the year, Ukraine is supposed to receive about 47 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. About 39 million of them will be purchased using the state budget and about 8 million will be provided free of charge under the COVAX program. 

Anyone who wants to be vaccinated in Ukraine can go to one of 197 mass vaccination centers throughout Ukraine. The capital has one such center at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center near the Livoberezhna metro station. Another one is located inside the Kyiv Boryspil International Airport.

The vaccination campaign in Ukraine started on Feb. 24. Since then nearly 3.3 million Ukrainians have got fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and over 1.9 million people have received the first of the two doses. 

The fifth and final stage of COVID-19 vaccination began in Ukraine on July 21, meaning anyone can get a jab.
