Victoria Petrenko is the senior website editor for the Kyiv Post. She worked as a reporter, news website editor, social media manager, and freelance journalist before joining the Kyiv Post staff in April 2014. From 2008 to 2013, she had been working as a reporter and website editor for Korrespondent.net news website, one of the leading online editions in Ukraine then. Prior to that she worked as a reporter for Korrespondent weekly. In 2014, Petrenko received Marion Gräfin Dönhoff Journalist Fellowship from The International Journalists Programs (IJP) and spent two months in Bonn, Germany, where she worked for Deutsche Welle. She holds a Master degree in Linguistics (English, German languages). Victoria Petrenko born in Slavuta, home to 35,000 residents more than 300 kilometers west of Kyiv in Khmelnytsky Oblast.
