Anna Yakutenko is the head of the video department in Kyiv Post. She started in Kyiv Post as an intern in September 2014. Since then, she had worked as Kyiv Post’s website editor, staff writer, and videographer before she became the head of the video unit in 2018.
Yakutenko was a 5th fellow from the Kyiv Post to Alfred Friendly Press Partners fellowship. She spent 6 months training at the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia and working at KCUR, the flagship National Public Radio station in the Kansas City metropolitan area, video news website Newsy and Chicago Tribune.
She is a graduate of the journalism department in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
